When was it done? What were you before and what’s your goal weight now or down to now? Did you get Gastric bypass done if so was it the Band or the Roux-en-Y? How does it make you feel? What are the complications for you on this surgery? What acan and can’t you eat? Can you eat something one day and can’t it eat another day?
I had a gastric bypass 6 years ago, I need a tummy tuck but employer switched to HMO. I have heard that Kaiser will do it, but you have to meet their criteria. Anyone know what I should say to the doctor to get him to authorize the procedure? What is the criteria? Thanks
well, it depends really. If your physician feels this surgery is the only option to help a serious medical condition, then yes it should be. However, if it is for cosmetic/weight loss because you feel it’s your only choice, then probably not. You need to discuss this with a doctor and a psychologist, before you even think about consenting to it. Hope that helps.
