Should Insurance Companies Have To Pay The Costs Associated With Gastric Bypass Surgeries Y Or Y Not?

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

No because insurance should only pay for things that are a health risk or bodily injury. I don’t think that insurance companies should pay for any plastic surgery, implants, etc. Just the regular things…heart transplants, liver transplants, life saving surgeries, flu, cold, things of that sort. People who need to lose weight, should eat more healthy, go on a diet, excercise, do gardening, etc. Do not turn to gastric bypass surgery or liposuction or things like that…
Hope this helps!!!
In reponse to djbreed_2000, I disagree. If ther person had taken care of their selves, they would not have to turn that way. All that person needs is the motivation. Motivation to live, breathe, walk, play with children/grand children, have children, do things they can’t do, etc. It’s just really sad to see people eat their way to an unhealthy lifestyle.
