I’m 16 months out from my Gastric Bypass surgery. I eat no more than 900-1000 calories per day. I walk 5 miles a day(except Sunday) and do strength training 3 times a week. I’ve lost 150 pounds and only need to lose 25 more.
Trying exercising daily ad eating no more than 1200 calories. Check your portion sizes too. You shouldn’t’ be eating more than a cup or so at a sitting.

I can tell you that I honestly know very little concerning gastric bypass, but weight loss I know some.
First off, you should do your cardio first to warm the muscles prior to strength training. If you are routinely doing the same exercizes for every session, your body will get used to it and maintain. I would suggest trying to do 40 minutes of cardio and varying your weight training by doing more reps. For instance work out upper body and core once a week, then lower body and core the second time and finally upper, lower and core on the third workout. This will give you more time to work more reps per workout.
As for your diet, you should consult a physician to determine the number of calories you should intake. But as a general rule, make sure you drink 6-10 eight ounce glasses of water a day. Try to eat 25 grams of fiber a day. And eat from all the food groups every day.
